do-it blog: Volunteering, community action and IT
The do-it blog is a new service from the people behind the volunteering website www.do-it.org.uk. To supplement news and features on its website, do-it has recently launched the blog (short for weblog), which is a website where news, views and links are posted on a given topic. And anyone reading it can add their own comments.
The do-it blog is aimed more at people working in the volunteering and community sectors than people wanting to volunteer. But it's open to all.
Part of the registered charity YouthNet.uk (www.youthnetuk.org), do-it is the first online national database of volunteering opportunities in the UK.
